Template explanation

Templates are available for each product Business-card.com offers.

The templates are color coded to help you visualize each zone. The outermost Pink Zone will be cut off after the job is printed. The Yellow Zone, we call it the cushion, will become the edge after the Pink Zone is cut off. We recommend keeping important elements out of the yellow cushion zone to create a pleasant optical margin from the cut edge.

Note: When submitting a job please delete the templates' color coded boxes. The color coded boxes are provided as a layout aid and are not needed by nonegpress.com to process your job file.

Please do not submit a file with crop marks. Crop marks are a holdover from the pre-digital days of printing, when film negatives were joined together by hand, with cellophane tape. Business-card.com’s all digital state-of-the-art process is film free, so crop marks are unnecessary, and may cause your job to print incorrectly.

When submitting a job with a front and a back please keep the orientation of the file layout the same for both front and back.

If the front is vertical and the back is horizontal we will use our judgement to decide how the front and back will align.
